In celebration of Eid el-Kabir, a significant moment in the Islamic calendar, Dr. Najibullah Umar Tafida Argungu (PhD), Santurakin Augie and CEO of Sandpine Consultant Ltd, has extended his Sallah goodwill message to Muslims in Kebbi State, across Nigeria, and around the world.
The prominent politician and candidate for the House of Representatives used the occasion to encourage Muslims to uphold the enduring values of the season—faith, loyalty, and commitment to a higher purpose.
“The story of Eid el-Kabir reminds us of Prophet Ibrahim’s unshakeable faith,” Dr. Tafida said. “It is a season of reflection, where we are called to show empathy, engage in sincere worship, and give generously to those around us.”
Highlighting the deeper significance of the festival, Dr. Tafida urged citizens to embrace unity and rededicate themselves to acts of kindness, civic responsibility, and active nation-building.
Beyond the celebrations, let us remember the importance of social justice, youth empowerment, and community support,” he noted. “We must be intentional in bridging gaps and sowing seeds of hope wherever we find ourselves.”
Dr. Tafida, whose consulting firm focuses on human resources and capacity development, also stressed the connection between spiritual discipline and progressive leadership. He reiterated his vision for a people-centered approach to governance.
“I believe in purposeful representation—one that listens, includes, and delivers. With the right mindset and policies, we can make Kebbi State and Nigeria models of progress and inclusion,” he said.
In conclusion, he offered prayers for a peaceful and meaningful Sallah celebration.
“I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our offerings and blesses our homes with joy and peace. May He grant our leaders wisdom and guide our nation toward unity and prosperity. Eid Mubarak!”
