Former Maria actress Dorea Chege has been giving a glimpse of how she is coping with motherhood after welcoming her newborn.

The couple announced that they were blessed with a baby girl on March 24, and shared the good news with fans who congratulated them and wished them health.

In a new video that they shared on their TikTok page, Dorea displayed her night nurse, dressed in her attire taking care of her newborn girl.

The nurse could be seen standing and softly rocking the baby who was warmly covered in a pink blanket.

Many netizens were in awe as they compared their experiences taking care of their newborns, some without any assistance.

"Night nurse is already here to take care of the baby as mummy rests," she captioned on her video.

The former Maria actress recently marvelled at the beautiful gifts that her celebrity friends gave her after throwing a lavish baby shower.

She shared a video unboxing the gifts which included baby clothes, toys, blankets, shopping vouchers, money and a baby's bed.

The mother of one also thanked her friends for making her day special even as she prayed for a safe delivery.

The actress was rumoured to be pregnant and each time she shut down the claims saying she would announce if it happened.

However, she came out to share she was protecting her pregnancy from the evil eye to avoid anything happening to it.

She also shared that she was not experiencing any challenges adding that it had been a smooth journey for her.
