LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is cautioning people heading to northern Michigan this weekend to be prepared for tree damage from the March ice storm.

The DNR says the damage covered more than three-million acres.

They said in an email to Michiganders that the area may look different than normal.

Work is continuing to clean up the debris left by the storm.
