This strategic move comes as the company strengthens its presence in Africa’s growing beverage market.

Hans’ appointment, effective July 1, 2024, underscores Diageo’s commitment to driving sustainable growth and transformation across the region.

With over 20 years of experience at multinational corporations such as Mars, Heineken, and Diageo, she brings extensive expertise spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

During her tenure at Diageo, Hans has held key leadership positions, most recently serving as General Manager for the Philippines and Commercial Director for Ireland’s off-trade revenue segment.

She has been instrumental in driving record market share growth, strengthening customer partnerships, and implementing transformative business strategies.

In the Philippines, Hans played a pivotal role as Vice President of European Chambers and Chair of the Alcohol Beverages Alliance, advocating for favorable tax policies and responsible retailing practices.

She has also championed workplace inclusivity through her role as an executive sponsor for Diageo’s Spirited Women Network and Prism Employee Resource Groups.

Hans expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I look forward to fostering innovation, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the economic growth of the communities we serve.”

Jindal, a seasoned professional with experience at Goldman Sachs and extensive expertise in Tolaram’s African expansion, has successfully driven strategic partnerships and led Tolaram’s diversification into Nigeria’s healthcare and automobile sectors.

Under his leadership, Celebr-8 Lyfe aims to revolutionize Nigeria’s premium spirits industry through innovation, strategic alliances, and diverse product offerings.

“Leadership is about inspiring teams, building genuine relationships, and creating memorable experiences. At Celebr-8 Lyfe, we are committed to shaping Nigeria’s premium spirits sector, one celebration at a time,” said Jindal.
