Details As Squad Hackathon 2.0 Invites Applications To Empower Young Innovators

HabariPay’s Squad, the fintech subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO), has announced the dates for its annual social coding competition, Squad Hackathon 2.0, taking place from March 13–15, 2025, at the GTCO Training Complex, Tayo’s Plaza, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the event will challenge emerging tech talents to create scalable digital solutions using Squad’s advanced APIs.

With the theme “Finclusion Revolution: Unlocking Access, Empowering Communities,” the competition aims to drive financial inclusion and tackle real-world challenges affecting underserved communities.

Participants, primarily from universities and tertiary institutions across Nigeria, will engage in team-building activities, brainstorming sessions, and solution development. Top winners will receive ₦5 million, ₦3 million, and ₦2 million for first, second, and third place, respectively.
