Delhi Election Results 2025: Ballimaran assembly constituency | AAP Imran Hussain wins vs BJP Kamal
In the Ballimaran assembly constituency, current Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Imran Hussain defeated previous long-time Congress MLA Haroon Yusuf and Kamal Bagri, a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) municipal councillor.
This is Hussain's third electoral victory. He got a total of 57004 votes. He beat the others by more than 29,000 votes.
The voting turnout in Ballimaran for the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections was 63.87 per cent. This shows a high level of electoral involvement in the constituency, demonstrating the electorate's interest in determining the region's political destiny.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had nominated Kamal Bagri in an effort to bolster its representation in the seat, where it has traditionally struggled. The Indian National Congress (INC) has once again put its confidence in senior politician Haroon Yusuf, who has run in several elections from Ballimaran. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has kept its current MLA, Imran Hussain, relying on his previous successes and ongoing popularity with voters.
