A fire erupted on Thursday morning at the library of Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, situated in the Pitampura area of northwest Delhi. According to officials from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the fire was reported at approximately 8.55 am and rapidly spread across three floors of the four-story library building.

In response to the emergency, eleven fire tenders were promptly dispatched to the location. Firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control by 9.40 am. Fortunately, there have been no reports of any injuries resulting from the incident.

At present, the cause of the fire remains undetermined. Investigations are underway to ascertain the source of the fire and the factors contributing to its spread within the library building.
