On the “Pivot Podcast,” Ryan Clark attacked more than Robert Griffin III’s wife and family. He also called out Keith Olbermann and Dave Portnoy in his rant, to which Dave, who has never beat around the bush about what he feels about any given situation, including ones about himself, responded.
Portnoy shared a video response to Clark and many others who may feel one way or the other about the subject.
“Ryan Clark name-dropped me in his wild RGIII/Caitlin Clark rant. For the billionth time the reason Caitlin Clark fans like me don’t like Angel Reese is cause Angel Reese has acted like a jackass towards Clark for years,” Portnoy said.
He would later go on to also post on his X account about Caitlyn Clark and the WNBA.
“You know what’s crazy. If Caitlin Clark just woke up one morning and decided she was sick of the @WNBA shit and decided to start her own league which wouldn’t be that difficult with her star power she’d put the WNBA out of business in 2 years,” Portnoy said.
Dave might not be wrong in his thoughts about Caitlyn being able to maybe make her own league one day.
There was also a petition made on Change.com that involved Portnoy, with the headline “Ban Dave Portnoy from WNBA Games!!!” to which Dave laughed on his X account, posting a screenshot of the page, stating “This is a real petition” with laughing emojis.
Dave is no stranger to people talking about him in both good and bad ways. This will eventually blow over for him, and he will probably attend every Clark game he can while betting on whether she will get a triple-double that night.
