BC Apollon Limassol (OPAP BL) signed 30-year-old international 185cm point guard Stefanos Iliadis (college: S.Florida) for the upcoming season. This marks his return to Limassol, where he previously played. Known for his passing skills, Iliadis was the best passer at Anorthosis (OPAP BL) last season. In 25 games, he averaged 7.6ppg, 1.9rpg, and 2.9apg, helping his team reach the cup final and league semifinals. He also played 7 games in FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 4.6ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.4apg, and 1.1spg. Prior to this, he spent three seasons (2021-24) with another Cypriot team, BC Apollon Limassol (OPAP Basket League).
He has also been a member of the Cypriot international program for some years. Iliadis has regularly played for the Cypriot senior team since 2012 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2014.
He also represented Cyprus at the Games of the Small States of Europe in Malta two years ago. His team won Bronze and he had almost 9 ppg.
Iliadis has played ppg for APOEL Nicosia.
He was voted to Eurobasket.com Cyprus League All-Domestic Players Team in 2021.
He graduated from the University of South Florida in 2015 and it'll be his 11th season in pro basketball.
