Eagle-eyed shoppers have noticed that the mega-wholesaler now sells ReadyWise's emergency food bucket. That's right: A bucket full of food pouches that you can enjoy when you need it the most. Once you select a pouch, just add water, and you'll have a meal with (typically) four to six servings in no time.

Not only does this bundle include 150 servings—that's 25,280 calories if you're counting—but its contents have a shelf life of 25 years. That's longer than most people age a bottle of wine, so the last thing you'll have to worry about is expiration dates.

The question you must be asking yourself (because, honestly, ditto) is, "What kind of food are we talking about here?" We know when an emergency strikes, you ultimately get what you get, and you don't get upset. But is this bucket full of a bunch of beef jerky and beans? Surprisingly, not exactly.

Depending on which emergency kit you purchase, your bucket will be filled with dishes like cheesy macaroni, potato pot pie, and pasta Alfredo. There are also breakfast options, such as granola, cereal, and even pancake mix, so you can still savor the most important meal of the day.
