Shoppers can’t stop raving about the Amazon cooling mat that’s a ‘game-changer’ for sleeping on hot, sticky nights.

The TANNESS 2-Pack Cooling Pillow is available for £8.99 at Amazon, which works out at under £5 per cooling mat. According to Tanness, the cooling mat “is designed to absorb and release excess body heat from your regular pillow, helping to maintain a cooler surface throughout the night”, and is made with “hot sleepers, warm weather, or anyone struggling with overheating in bed” in mind.

They also add that the cooling mats - which are designed to aid body temperature control - are “made from skin-friendly polyester, providing gentle comfort without irritation”, and help to keep moisture at bay during the night, while also staying cool.

The TANNESS 2-Pack Cooling Pillows have proved popular with shoppers, garnering an impressive 4.2 star rating from just under 5,000 reviews. One shopper, who finds the gel cooling mats help them sleep, said: “These are so perfect for at night when it's hot and you are trying to sleep. I put them on my back/tummy and they are so cool, comforting and help me sleep. The coolness lasts probably 30 min to an hour - just long enough for me to fall asleep. When I get hot again in the night, I grab it again and it's cool again and ready to help.”

A second who revealed that they tend to sleep hot, said: “I used to wake up in the night mega hot and uncomfortable. Tried the cooling pillows that go in the fridge but by the time I went downstairs and got them I was wide awake and to be honest they were so cold it was a bit much. These are a perfect solution.

And another person wrote: “Perfect for really sticky nights. Can be used straight away or after some time in the fridge. It really does help and cool you down so that you can sleep. Bought one for each of the family plus my mum and dad.”
