Classic Style Is My Default, But I'm Buying These 7 Trendy Items Anyway

Even though I'm a fashion editor (or perhaps because I'm a fashion editor), when it comes to trends, I'm picky. I'd even say I'm getting pickier by the year (my very full closet is partially to blame). And although my wardrobe is leaning more classic these days, I still can't resist buying a few trendy items at the start of every new season. To be honest, there are a lot of good ones for spring 2025, so I narrowed it down out of necessity (and to share with you, of course).

Below, I made a list of trends (as in trendy trends) that even people like me who favor a classic aesthetic will be tempted by. Sometimes, I get bored, and buying trendy things to wear from time to time is fun, so that's what's motivating me these days. So with that, keep scrolling to join me in some of-the-moment shopping that'll make your classic outfits more fun and seasonally appropriate.
