Cavs 'open-minded' about trade talks for Darius Garland
He enjoyed his best season in the National Basketball Association for the Cleveland Cavaliers in year six, but could this be the end of Darius Garland in Cleveland?
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reports the Cavaliers are ‘open-minded’ about trade talks for Garland.
The former fifth overall selection of the 2019 NBA Draft became an All-Star honoree for a second time in his career. He set career-highs for games played (75) and field goal percentage (47.2), while averaging 20.6 points per game this season. Garland assisted a team that advanced to the best record in the Eastern Conference, landing the No. 1 seed in the playoffs. His team fell to the Indiana Pacers in the conference semifinal round; however, Garland likes the situation he’s in with the Cavs.
“I think there’s some belief that Darius Garland might be available under the right circumstances… I think the Cavs are listening and open minded,” – @WindhorstESPN.

Garland, 25, struggled with injuries this postseason, but knows he can dominate when healthy.
Hopefully, Cleveland decides to keep him and Donovan Mitchell together.
