Cameron Diaz is, quite literally, Back in Action. 

Last week, the actress attended her first movie premiere in over a decade, and her cool-girl outfit was well worth the wait. She stunned in a sheer black top and some roomy jeans that were almost as oversized as her topper — the main moment.

It was so sizable, in fact, that it left a trailing veil of fabric on the ground behind her. The entire silhouette, including the sleeves, looked extra roomy, so you could easily mimic the style with a thick sweater, boxy blazer, or wintry shacket underneath. She finished the look by wearing her hair up to show off earrings from Jennifer Fisher and Alexis Bittar. 

Tailored coats are pretty and timeless, but the sleek fit isn't always the easiest to style. It’s either the outfit (in other words, all you see), or it requires slim layers underneath. An oversized coat gives you creative freedom to wear more layers without feeling boxed in or claustrophobic. Hailey Bieber and Gabrielle Union are also fans of the style. 

This wool-blend, double-breasted coat has a fit-and-flare silhouette, per the brand, but according to one shopper, it has a “nice slightly oversized” fit. A second shopper did have to size up to achieve this effect though, so keep that in mind. As for the quality? A third reviewer said “[It] feels and looks like a $400 coat,” so we think that’s a pretty good assessment. 

This jacket looks like a classic brown coat — that is, until you see the back. It’s two-toned with a dark and light color scheme, differentiating it from others. The belt is also a nice touch. Sizes S to XL are all 24 percent off now. 

This one isn’t as long as Diaz’s, but that might be better for some. Why? It goes down past the knees, so it’s still going to be warm, but since it’s a little shorter, accidental trip-and-falls over drapey fabric are not a need for concern. The burgundy color also makes it look like Kate Middleton’s winter coat.
