Bryan Adams has been working steadily for almost 50 years in the music industry. The Canadian rocker seemingly still loves what he does, as he never waits very long in between chapters of his career. The singer-songwriter recently delivered a new tune that introduces an upcoming album, and fans around the world have made it a quick success--especially in the United Kingdom.

“Roll With The Punches” debuts on a pair of charts in the U.K. this frame. Its arrival is thanks to a large enough sales sum to place it on several tallies dedicated specifically to purchases, though it starts very low on both of them, so its first week sales sum might not have been huge.

In its first frame on the U.K. rankings, “Roll With The Punches” debuts at No. 96 on the Official Singles Downloads roster. It comes in two spaces beneath that position on the all-format, all-genre Official Singles Sales list.

Adams collects his fourth career hit on both of those tallies as “Roll With The Punches” arrives. The tune marks his first appearance on either ranking since March 2019 when “Shine A Light” opened at No. 63 on the two rankings.

Adams scored his first hit on both tallies with “Summer of ‘69,” though the tune debuted many years apart on the two rankings. That classic entered the Official Singles Downloads chart in July 2006, and it eventually climbed to No. 37. “Summer of ‘69” also reached the top 40 on the Official Singles Sales chart, though it had to wait many more years before becoming an all-around sales win, as opposed to simply a download favorite. Adams’s smash opened on the Official Singles Sales chart in July 2015, nine years after it became one of the most-downloaded tracks in the U.K.

“Roll With The Punches” now stands as Adams’s lowest-ranking hit on both of the charts it debuts on this frame. Before this week, “Shine A Light” held that position after only climbing to No. 63.

Adams has been on a releasing streak lately, and it seems like now he’s entering an official new phase of his career. “Roll With The Punches” serves as the title track and lead single from an upcoming album. The musician shared several tunes throughout 2024 and 2023, and some of them don't have a home on any project just yet.
