The singer has been adamant that she has no intention of returning to the business that has treated her so poorly, but that's not keeping longtime lovers of her work from continuing to play the tunes they love.

Spears maintains a presence on the charts in the United Kingdom this week. She can almost always be found on at least one or two rankings, and this frame, as she makes space on several at once, and she climbs as interest in her catalog rises again.

The Grammy winner’s The Singles Collection grows in stature on both U.K.-based charts it appears on this frame. It performs best on the Official Albums Streaming ranking. On that tally—which ranks only the full-lengths and EPs that rack up the most plays on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and many others—her compilation jumps nearly 10 spaces, pushing from No. 61 to No. 52.

At the same time, The Singles Collection can also be found once more on the Official Albums chart. That tally is the most competitive and most important when it comes to full-lengths in the U.K., and it uses a methodology that combines streams and sales. Spears dances from No. 77 to No. 68 on the tally this time around.

The Singles Collection has risen highest on the Official Albums Streaming chart in the past, climbing all the way to No. 31, while it has only risen to No. 38 on the main albums tally. It's not shocking that The Singles Collection has also spent more time on the streaming-only roster than on the all-encompassing consumption tally. Spears' greatest hits set is up to 226 weeks on the list of the most-streamed albums in the U.K. It has yet to cross the 200-week landmark on the top roster.
