‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Monday, June 16 is going to be a fun one and we’re grabbing plenty of popcorn for this one.

Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) and Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob)’s relationship is over after Derek’s proposal goes as wrong as possible.

His heart is in the right place, but the damage is done and their lack of communication will end things.

Meanwhile, Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) will talk with Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) about her fears for their friends.

Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon)’s past will continued to surface as Smitty Smith (Mike Manning) will interview Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy) and Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) will come up.

As for Martin, he’ll go after the busboy and demand to know what he knows.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Derek and Ashley’s relationship is coming to an end.

Their communication is worse than horrible. It’s good they talked with their friends on how to make things work, but they needed a therapist.

Ashley expected Derek to break up with her, and that tells us it was already over in her mind. So when Derek proposes, she’ll reach her breaking point.

Living together didn’t work, so getting married while they’re having problems is a huge mistake. She’ll feel he doesn’t listen or learn, and he’ won’t understand what he keeps doing wrong.

We mentioned their needing therapy above, and we won’t be surprised if Naomi mentions that to Andre when they put their heads together.

They’ll want their friends to be happy together, but we expect both think a breakup is going to happen.

Martin’s worst nightmare is coming true in front of his eyes and behind his back and there’s nothing he can do.

Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) is already irritated with him for telling his mother, and now a busboy knows something.

That will set Martin off and he’ll confront him, but we doubt he’ll get anywhere. We think the busboy’s job is to keep an eye on him and instigate something, and it’s working.

Smitty will do his job and start researching and interviewing for his article.

This will lead him to Marcel, and things will get interesting.

As they talk, Joey’s name will come up, and Smitty’s too good a reporter to buy any lie Marcel tries to sell him.

If anything, it’ll create more questions and he’ll do more digging. The sad thing is Smitty has no clue he’s burying Martin by doing this. Or maybe it’ll help in some way?
