Veolia Towers Hamburg (BBL) landed 25-year old American 192cm shooting guard Eric Reed Jr (college: MSU) for new season. Reed Jr played most recently at House of Talents Kortrijk Spurs in Belgian Pro Basketball League. In 7 games he averaged 13.1ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.0spg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Reed Jr also played 35 games in BNXT League where he had very impressive stats: 15.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg. He contributed to his team ending the regular season as at the second position in the league. Reed Jr can count that season as a very successful as was voted to Eurobasket.com BNXT League Third Team.
He ended the previous (2023-24) season at Aris Midea in Greek GBL. In 10 games he recorded 4.5ppg and 1.8rpg in that year. But the most of that year he spent at Etha in Cypriot OPAP BL. In 17 games he got remarkable 20.9ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg in that year. A very impressive season as he was selected to Cyprus League All-Star Game.
He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2023 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Southeast Missouri State University, Howard College, TX.
