Baringo County Advertises Over 50 Job Openings for Nurses, Other Positions

The board advertised over 50 job openings, offering permanent and contract terms for interested and qualified candidates.

In an advert published in The Standard newspaper on Friday, January 24, the devolved unit asked Kenyans to submit their academic and professional documents by Friday, February 7.

"Applicants should submit their applications together with copies of their detailed curriculum vitae, academic and professional certificates, testimonials, national identity card or passport.
"The application should be contained in an envelope indicating the position applied for on the top right side and submitted (hand-delivery or by post on or before Friday, February 7," the advert stated.

In related news, the Murang'a County Public Service Board invited applications from Kenyan graduates countrywide to fill 46 internship positions.

The board said successful candidates would be offered a one-year programme to gain hands-on experience and build skills to enhance their employment, networking, and entrepreneurship chances.

It clarified that candidates should have graduated from recognised training institutions in the last 24 months.

Elsewhere, the World Bank invited applications for its 2025 paid internship programme from May to August.

The Bretton Woods institution said applicants must be fluent in English and be enrolled in a full-time graduate or PhD programme.

It said successful applicants will receive an hourly salary plus a commuter allowance of up to $3,000 (KSh 388,500 at the current exchange rate).

At the same time, the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry (MITI) advertised jobs for project specialists, with a deadline of January 31.

Safaricom was also looking for qualified individuals to fill various open positions in January 2025.
