Jambojet Advertises Jobs for Flight Attendants, Shift Leaders and Other Positions

Kenya's low-cost airline Jambojet is inviting applications for several job openings in Nairobi and Mombasa.

The airline advertised the vacant positions on its website, asking interested and qualified Kenyans to submit their applications online by Saturday, January 31.

"Are you passionate about aviation? Ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for exceptional talent to join our maintenance team," the advert on its website stated.

The airline clarified that positions for customer service and flight attendants were open, with applicants being placed in a pipeline for future consideration.

Flight Attendants will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of passengers onboard the flights.

On the other hand, customer service agents will be tasked with ensuring adherence to safety and security standards during operations and handling various customer-related tasks.

  • Certifications: Relevant customer service or airline industry certifications are advantageous.

In a separate story, Jambojet confirmed that one of its planes was damaged after crashing into poles at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a statement obtained by the Jambojet management said the accident occurred during routine overnight maintenance activities.

They further stated that the aircraft rolled off the ramp and collided with poles, damaging its nose. No casualties were reported in the incident.

Which other organisations advertised jobs?

NCBA Bank Kenya invited applications from interested and suitable Kenyans to fill multiple vacant positions in digital business and IT.

The lender asked interested and qualified candidates to submit their academic and professional documents through its recruitment portal.

The World Bank invited applications for its 2025 internship programme from May to August. It said applicants must be fluent in English and be enrolled in a full-time graduate or PhD programme.

Similarly, I&M Bank advertised job openings at its offices in Nairobi, Kigali (Rwanda), Kampala (Uganda), and Dar es Salaam (Tanzania).
