Ariana Grande attended the 2025 BAFTAs at The Royal Festival Hall, joining her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo not only as a nominee but also in sporting a custom gown.
And once again, I find myself staring an Ariana custom look from , believing that I kinda understanding the vision, but feeling like the execution is somewhere over the rainbow.
Her Palm Springs International Film Awards look had potential but fell flat. The Wicked New York premiere? A collective “meh” from most of you. Honestly, the only look that truly worked for her was that embellished jersey moment at the 2024 Super Bowl. Yes, the Super Bowl is currently her LV peak.
So, what about tonight? The voluminous black and light peach gown, featuring a silk velvet deep V-neck top and a silk taffeta skirt gave us a shift—no pink, no vintage dress, and a dramatic silhouette
However, something feels off. Is it the proportions? The styling? I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s giving “almost there.” Since I’m struggling to articulate exactly what it is, I’ll just say I’m not a fan, and I’m still waiting for her to hit that perfect fashion note.
