Apple Music has released 500 of the most streamed songs from Apple Music around the world over the past decade to mark the 10th anniversary of the service's launch. Starting with the 1st of US time, the rankings were sequentially released 100 songs a day through the playlist and radio program of "Apple Music 10 Years of Apple Music: Top Songs."

K-pop artists BTS (BTS) and Blackpink Rosé, who represent K-pop, once again proved their status in the global pop music market.

BTS ranked highest among K-pop artists with "Dynamite" (34th) and "Butter" (252nd). At the time of its release in 2020, "Dynamite" entered the top five of Apple Music's "Top 100: Global" chart for the first time in K-pop, and "Butter" also recorded the same seven months later. Three out of 10 K-pop songs that have been in the top five of Apple Music's charts over the past decade are BTS's songs.

"APT," in which Rosé and American pop star Bruno Mars collaborated, is the latest song on the chart and ranked 459th. "Apartment" topped Apple Music's "Today's TOP 100: Global" chart for more than 60 consecutive days with its unique addictive rhythm, which is one of the top five fingers in the Apple Music Awards over the past decade.

Ed Sheeran's 2017 hit "Shape of You" topped the list of most streamed songs. After setting a record as the most globally streamed pop song on the first day of its release, "Shape of You" topped the "pop hit song" chart in at least one country for more than 1,800 days and topped the "full-length hit song" for more than 1,000 days. Ed Sheeran was selected as one of the most entry artists with a total of 11 songs, including the song, in the Top 500.

In addition, Drake, who posted 27 songs on the chart, became the most entry artists, followed by Taylor Swift, who posted 14 songs, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Kendrick Lamar, who each posted nine songs. Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was the only year-end season song ranked 100th, and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," released in 1975, was the oldest song on the chart.

Meanwhile, Apple Music recently unveiled a studio in Los Angeles that is set to open this summer to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Designed under the "artist-centered" philosophy, the space is ready to support artists' creative activities, promote in-depth communication with fans, and inspire new inspiration in the music ecosystem. Apple Music is celebrating its 10th anniversary by organizing various specials and live programs along with a special countdown that began on the 1st of this month.
