Albert Ojwang: Inside KSh 1.5m House Gladys Wanga Built for Slain Blogger's Dad

Wanga shared a video of the house on her social media, showing the features of the permanent house unit.

"Today, as we receive Albert’s body home, his dream to build his parents a new house is fulfilled, albeit in his absence. May justice prevail," said Governor Wanga.

The video sparked debate among Kenyans, some applauding the governor while others criticising the governor's move at a time the family was mourning the loss of their only son.

"This is just giving back for the housing levy he paid while serving as a teacher."

The video showed the inside of the house, with new fittings including the furniture and bedding.

The living room is fitted with cosy sofa sets and tables, worth and valuable for a modern home.

Governor Wanga said the house will be constructed at an estimated cost of KSh 1.5 million.

On Monday, June 16, Wanga oversaw the ground breaking process for the construction of the house.
