AI-Centric Crypto Projects Surge in Social Engagement, $TAO and $INJ Leading the Pack

Published 1 week ago2 minute read

On June 22, 2025, information collected by the Phoenix Group with LunarCrush indicated increased social media activity about artificial intelligence-centered cryptocurrency initiatives. $TAO topped the lists with 9,500 posts on engaged activity and 781,300 interactions, ranking as the most actively discussed artificial intelligence (AI) crypto project throughout the 24-hour timeframe.

Just one behind it was Injective ($INJ), which had 8,900 engaged posts and over 491,900 social interactions. The strong performance also indicates the interest expressed in the protocol’s progress and its involvement in the AI and decentralized finance sector.

Fetch.ai ($FET) is third with 6,200 active posts and about 263,700 interactions. The project’s evolution is still associated with its AI-oriented smart infrastructure tools.

Qubic had 4,800 posts of engagement and more than 333,400 interactions, ranking fourth regarding the number of subjects involved. Virtual ($VIRTUAL) and Verasity ($VRA) also maintained active engagement, logging 4,700 and 3,700 posts, respectively, with interaction totals of 277,000 and 287,400.

NEAR Protocol and Render registered engaged posts of 3,500 and 3,400 indicators of a stable community interest. $NEAR recorded 230,200 interactions, whereas Render had a count of 219,400. These data prove that despite the three most popular, AI-connected blockchain networks still attract user interest.

There were $PAAL and $AIXBT that were located farther down the list, but still present. The number of engaged posts was 2,800, with 79,900 interactions recorded in $PAAL and 2,200 involving posts and 75,300 interactions in $AIXB, respectively. Although the footprints of the two projects are smaller, they enjoy the advantages of niche community involvement, niche-specific content initiatives that keep the dialogue active across channels such as X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, and Reddit.

These rankings measure socially driven engagement, including likes, shares, comments, and retweets, providing insight into which projects are currently maintaining visibility in a competitive digital asset landscape. As the intersection of AI and blockchain grows, social metrics offer a reflection of emerging user interest and awareness.
