Ahmed Suale: Former Tiger Eye PI member charged with murder
Daniel Owusu Koranteng, a former associate of the late investigative journalist Ahmed Suale at Tiger Eye PI, has been charged with murder in connection with Suale’s death.
He is accused of causing Suale’s death through unlawful harm.
According to case details, Koranteng was allegedly near Suale’s residence in Madina before and at the time of the shooting.
Reports indicate that he left Madina for his home in Amasaman around 11 p.m. that same night. Authorities also claim he evaded police invitations and fled to the United Kingdom in 2019.
However, following police surveillance, he was arrested upon his return to Ghana on March 15, 2025.
Investigators suggest that Suale had identified Koranteng as the person who sold his pictures to Kennedy Agyapong—a claim Koranteng has denied.
On Wednesday, he was arraigned before the Madina District Court and subsequently remanded into custody.
The case has been adjourned to April 1.
