On 16 June 2025, EFSA held an online ad-hoc meeting with interested feed business representatives (FEFANA), European Commission (EC) and EFSA experts. 

The objective of the meeting was to explain the view of the FEEDAP Panel expressed in the Technical report from FEFANA to DG SANTE regarding the Efficacy assessment of zootechnical additives within the functional group “Physiological Conditions Stabilisers”. The discussion focused on clarifications regarding the information included in the FEEDAP Guidance on the assessment of the efficacy of feed additives related to the experimental design of efficacy trials and the selection of appropriate target endpoints.

The meeting was organised in line with the EFSA’s catalogue on initiative for regulated products. The initiative aligns with EFSA’s commitment to engaging with its stakeholders and improving understanding of its work.
