Actress Yetunde Barnabas Denies Rumors of Second Child

Yetunde Barnabas, the prominent Nigerian actress, has recently addressed and refuted claims circulating on social media regarding the arrival of her second child. In a definitive statement posted on her official Instagram account, Barnabas shared screenshots illustrating Facebook pages that had erroneously reported the birth of a baby girl. She firmly labeled these reports as false and urged the public to exercise caution and verify information before disseminating it further.

Barnabas emphasized the importance of patience, stating that "God's time is the best" for such blessings. She also redirected her fans' attention and energy toward supporting her latest cinematic endeavor, a new movie titled ‘The Return of Orisa Aiye,’ which is currently available for viewing on her YouTube channel.

In her Instagram post, Barnabas wrote, "As seen on Facebook I am not aware that I gave birth. Even though this is a goodnews pls stop spreading false rumors about me, and do your findings before posting. God's time is the best. Yetunde Barnabas is married to Peter Olayinka, a Super Eagles striker. The couple tied the knot in March 2021 after reportedly meeting in 2019 and starting a relationship shortly thereafter. They welcomed their first child in 2022.

Barnabas rose to fame for her role as Miss Pepeiye in ‘Papa Ajasco,’ a widely recognized Nigerian family television sitcom created by Wale Adenuga in 1996. Since then, she has maintained a consistent presence in the Nigerian film industry, featuring in numerous movies. Prior to her acting career, Barnabas had a successful career as a model, earning several awards and recognitions, including the prestigious Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja pageant in 2019.

Peter Olayinka is a professional football player for Slavia Prague, a club based in the Czech Republic. He was also a member of the Super Eagles team that participated in the 2022 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Cameroon.
