Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Zone RS2, ACM Adeoye Irelewuyi, has officially bowed out of active service in the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) after 35 years of meritorious service.

The Zone RS2 comprises Lagos and Ogun States Commands, with its headquarters in Lagos.

He took the Zone’s baton of leadership in October 2024.

ACM retirement and pull-out parade, which was held today, Wednesday – March 5, 2025 at FRSC Arcade in Lagos drew dignitaries from all walks of life, political leaders, business Moguls including traditional rulers, FRSC officers both serving and retired, family members, and well-wishers. ACM Irelewuyi has served the Commission in different capacities with many roles, including traffic management and enforcement, research and policy development, operations and administration.

Delivering his farewell address, the outgoing ACM expressed gratitude to God for enabling him to reach the peak of his career, stating, “I thank the Lord who has helped me navigate numerous challenges, overcome obstacles and adversity, and complete this demanding journey, arriving safely and in good health.”

He attributed his successes to the grace of God and the support of good leaders within the Corps, who helped him reach the pinnacle of his career.

ACM Irelewuyi, however, emphasized the need for greater partnership and support for FRSC to achieve its goal on safer road – fuller lives.

While praying for those still in service, ACM advised them to perform their duties with utmost integrity, professionalism, fairness, and transparency, avoiding any form of corruption or unethical behaviour.
