A sunny Wednesday and 21c for Donegal before heavy and thundery showers tonight

Humid and dry today for Donegal, although quite cloudy at first.

Sunny spells will slowly develop this afternoon, with highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in a light to moderate southerly breeze.

Early tonight, scattered showers will spread from the south, some turning heavy and thundery. More persistent and heavy rain will develop towards dawn, with thunderstorms possible and a chance of spot flooding. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 12 to 14 degrees.

A wet day tomorrow, Thursday, with heavy rain and the chance of thunderstorms. The rain will slowly clear northwards later with isolated showers following. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees in moderate southeasterly winds.
