A drier week ahead following storms
COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL)- Following Sunday night/Monday morning’s storms, many areas across the region are still cleaning up. So far, the National Weather Service has in our area. One in Muscogee County and another in Barbour County.
We not only saw strong winds and tornadoes, but we also saw flooding as well. Rainfall totals up to 5.5 inches have been measured so far. A is in effect through Wednesday morning for the Chattahoochee River, where minor flooding is already underway.
Behind this strong cold front, we will see a (lows in the upper 30s). However, we will see temperatures rebound into the 80s by next weekend (lows in the 50s).
