5 Laura Harrier-Approved Outfit Formulas To See You Through Spring | British Vogue
Move over, Zoë Kravitz: there’s a new minimalist style icon in town, and her name is Laura Harrier. “I’m usually living out of a suitcase in the summer months, so I try and keep everything very pared down,” the BlacKkKlansman star (and newly minted Miu Miu model) told British Vogue of her looks in the warmer months, citing long skirts, tank tops, slip dresses and button downs as her wardrobe essentials. (The ’90s, needless to say, is her “absolute favourite era” when it comes to fashion.) “When I want to elevate, I just put on some Elsa Peretti jewellery and call it a day.”
Her staples are typically sourced from the likes of Toteme, The Row and Khaite, or truffled out on vintage sites (Harrier is a long-term champion of the likes of The RealReal), while she counts Cory Kennedy and Alexa Chung as her own style pin-ups.
Scouted at 17, Laura spent her formative years modelling before transitioning into acting in the likes of Hollywood. Last year, she partnered with the ultimate cool-girl brand, Reformation, on a capsule collection designed for anyone chasing her ’90s-inflected aesthetic – or you can simply take inspiration from her best street-style moments. Below, five of her best minimal looks to keep on your moodboard this spring.
