3 Arts Acquires A&A Management, Travis Kelce Among Sports Clients
Talent management and production firm 3 Arts Entertainment is bolstering its footprint in the sports world with the acquisition of A&A Management Group, a boutique sports and entertainment management firm whose roster includes Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. A&A Management was founded in 2011 by brothers Aaron and André Eanes in Cleveland. The firm has represented athletes such as three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, NBA stars Jonathan Kuminga and Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland, NFL players Denzel Ward and Joe Haden, and Sports Illustrated model Camille Kostek. The company says it works with clients “across media, fashion, business and philanthropy” and has inked deals with brands including Amazon, Experian, Louis Vuitton and State Farm.
3 Arts, which is majority owned by Lionsgate, said the deal reinforces “the ties between talent, entertainment and entrepreneurship.” A&A Management will continue to be led by the Eanes brothers.
Aaron Eanes said in a statement, “Athletes and talent today are more than just one thing — they’re entrepreneurs, brands and leaders. 3 Arts’ expertise in talent management and production, combined with our expertise in brand building and sports, gives our clients the resources and guidance they need to thrive in today’s changing marketplace. Together, our shared vision is to empower talent to maximize their impact, wherever their ambitions take them.”
André Eanes said: “3 Arts is the right partner for us because they share our commitment to nurturing talent and unleashing creativity. The firm’s track record in representing top-tier artists and storytellers and their global resources and reputation gives our team the ideal platform to innovate and develop new opportunities for our clients.”
3 Arts claims to be the world’s largest talent management and production company. In 2018, Lionsgate acquired a majority stake in 3 Arts, which the companies said uniquely couples the studio’s production capabilities and IP library with 3 Arts’ creative and managerial strengths and talent pool.
Brian Weinstein and Michael Rotenberg, co-CEOs of 3 Arts, praised Aaron and André Eanes’ expertise and understanding of “the evolution of the entertainment industry, converging sports, culture and entrepreneurship.”
“Combining their team with our deep relationships and film and television production expertise, 3 Arts Entertainment aims to continue its growth as the leading talent management and production firm and the partner of choice for the athletes and entertainers who shape our culture today,” Weinstein and Rotenberg said in a statement.
