Published 3 weeks ago3 minute read

The original cast of "Hamilton" reunited Sunday night at the 78th Annual Tony Awards.

The iconic company -- including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ariana DeBose, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Sydney James Harcourt, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Stephanie Klemons, Javier Muñoz and Phillipa Soo -- came together to perform to mark the hit musical's 10th anniversary.

Taking to the stage, the group performed a medley of some of the musical's most-loved songs, including "My Shot," "The Schuyler Sisters," "You'll Be Back," "The Room Where It Happens" and "History Has Its Eyes on You."

"Hamilton," which officially opened on Broadway in August 2015, made history at the Tony Awards in 2016, earning a record-breaking 16 nominations and taking home 11 wins, including the Tony for best musical.

Odom is set to return to the stage production this fall in the role of Aaron Burr for a limited run.

The "Hamilton" reunion wasn't the only highlight from this year's Tony Awards, which were hosted by Cynthia Erivo at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. See below for a complete list of winners.
