2025 Hajj: Pilgrims Arrive in Saudi Arabia

At least 12 states have completed the airlift of their pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, totaling 25,702 pilgrims. According to data from NAHCON’s Command and Control Centre in Abuja, the states that have concluded their Hajj operations include Adamawa, Lagos, Imo, Abia, Kogi, Nasarawa, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Ekiti, Ondo, and Edo State.

As of now, 25,702 pilgrims have been transported to Saudi Arabia through 63 flights over 10 days.

The Independent Hajj Reporters (IHR), a faith-based Civil Society Organization (CSO) in the Hajj and Umrah industry, has commended the leadership of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), the airlines involved in flight operations, and service providers in Saudi Arabia, as well as the pilgrims themselves, for their successful handling of operations for the intending pilgrims to Hajj 2025 from Nigeria.

IHR, in a statement signed by its national coordinator, Ibrahim Muhammed, noted that information indicates that almost everyone involved in the airlift and reception operations is performing well, contributing to the successes recorded thus far.
