2-alarm fire breaks out at south Charlotte shopping center
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A two-alarm fire broke out at a south Charlotte shopping center Friday night.
According to the Charlotte Fire Department, crews responded at 8:50 p.m. to a commercial fire at the Blakeney shopping center in the 9700 block of Rea Road. There was smoke showing upon arrival.
It took 60 firefighters to control the fire in 50 minutes.
Firefighters are reporting no injuries. The fire is under investigation.
