1000-Lb. Sisters star has shared an update on her health, revealing that she was hospitalized for three days after “blacking out.”
“So Sunday afternoon, I had my kids. It was about 5 or 6 o’clock. I had my kiddos over, three of them. I ordered pizza and was trying to clean up and I just blacked out,” the TV personality, 44, explained in an Instagram video on Wednesday, February 19.
She continued, “So, my boyfriend and my children made me come to the hospital, so I’ve been in the hospital for, like, three days now. They’re checking my heart, checking everything, but I feel OK.”
Amanda added that she was still feeling “under the weather” with congestion, but she wanted to be “transparent” with her fans about what happened to her.
“I want to remind everyone that we should be getting our checkups, regular physicals, regular health checkups, go and get yourself together,” she said. “You know, nobody knows you better than you. So let’s take care of ourselves, OK? Self care is the best kind of care and self-love. So let’s continue to do that.”
Amanda concluded, “You guys say a prayer for your girl and just as soon as I’m able, I’ll see you on [Instagram] Live.”
In the caption, the reality star added, “I am finally home after a three-day stay in the hospital. For now, we wait for a diagnosis and treatment plan.”
Amanda also gave a shoutout to her boyfriend, .
“Leonard Moore you already know,” she wrote, adding hearts and kissing emojis.
In addition to her health update video, Amanda shared a compilation of photos and clips from her hospital stay. “The first picture I was very disoriented and confused. The second pic was about [four] hours later, the others was the next morning,” she wrote in the caption.
Many fans sent their well wishes in the comments.

One user praised Amanda’s boyfriend for encouraging her to get checked out.

Amanda hard-launched her romance with Leonard, 41, on Instagram in January, sharing a photo of herself and her man posing together in front of a tree.
“Three months together and a lifetime of adventure waits. Here’s to the next road trip love!” she captioned the post.
Amanda has continued to share updates on their romance on her page, including video footage of how the couple celebrated Valentine’s Day.
“Valentine’s Day started with this view on my way to handle some business we always enjoy the views when we are together,” she captioned a road trip video. Another post showed photos and videos taken at a nail salon.
“After business was settled Leonard Moore took me to get a mani pedi and he enjoyed one to! It’s not all about me or all about him it’s about us,” the TLC personality wrote. “Spoiling each other in ways we never knew possible.”
