Through a series of statements made on his X account (formerly Twitter), Muhoozi, who is also President Yoweri Museveni's son, stated that the Uganda People's Defence Force could have dealt with the gangs in Haiti faster.
He further gave the Kenyan officers one month to bring back stability in the country's capital, Port-au-Prince. Muhoozi stated that if Kenyans fail, then Ugandan forces will take over the mission.
"Let's give Kenya's 'so-called elite Special Forces' 1 month to organise Port-au-Prince and report back. If they fail, UPDF will do the job!" he said.
Additionally, the president's son alleged that it would only take Uganda one month to capture Port-au-Prince.
"It would take us 1 month to capture Port-au-Prince. The Kenyans have failed after nearly 2 years...that's what we expected. Weaklings. The UN is welcome to offer us favourable terms. Kenyans are experts at running from fire. That's why they are world champions at the Marathon," he added.
Muhoozi boldly sent a stern warning to the Haitian gang leader Jimmy Chérizier, also known as Barbecue. He told Barbecue that he would be targeting him if Museveni approves Ugandan police deployment to Haiti.
"I only have ONE PIECE of advice if Mzee deploys us to HAITI. BARBECUE I'm coming for you! Run! And you won't survive me. My name is 'Muhoozi Kainerugaba,' he concluded.
