Yankees injuries: Big news on Jazz Chisholm, Fernando Cruz, Luis Gil
ANAHEIM, Calif. — Yankees manager Aaron Boone passed along some very encouraging injury updates before Monday night’s game with the Angels.
Reliever Fernando Cruz and second baseman Jazz Chisholm could be off the injured list by next week.

He should be able to replicate a lot of things this week, and then we’ll see what we’re going to do next week, if it’s more of that or if it’s rehab assignment. We’re not quite there yet, but he’s getting close. I don’t know exactly what it’ll look like before he gets here.”
