Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to attend and deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the fourth ministerial meeting of the China-CELAC (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States) Forum in Beijing on May 13, according to a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson.

The meeting, agreed upon by China and CELAC, will take place in Beijing on May 13. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will chair the event.

The spokesperson added that foreign ministers or representatives from CELAC countries, as well as heads of relevant regional organizations, will be in attendance.
