Taylor Swift attended the 2025 Grammy Awards without her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, on Sunday evening. Sources previously told TMZ that Kelce would be missing the event due to his training schedule with the Chiefs. The team is currently preparing to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl next weekend.

People reported that Kelce and his team are traveling to New Orleans today—which, naturally, ruled out an appearance at the Grammys in Los Angeles.

According to a source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight, “Although Travis would have loved to be with Taylor...she feels so supported by him and knows he will be cheering her on.”

Fans initially began speculating that Kelce and Swift would not be making their red carpet debut at this year's Grammy's when Swift was spotted leaving Kansas City alone on Wednesday in photos published by the Daily Mail.

Last year, Kelce missed the Grammys for the same reason. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, he said, “I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but on Saturday I’ve got practice and Sunday’s a travel day. I’ve got to get ready for this big old Super Bowl that we’ve got in a week."

Swift may not have had Kelce at her side on the red carpet at this year's Grammys, but it seems that she may have made a subtle sartorial nod to him, wearing a sparkly Chiefs red minidress with a golden "T" garter dangling over her upper thigh. The singer, who already has 14 Grammys under her belt, is up for six more at this year's ceremony.
