I travel a lot. In 2024 alone, I took 12 round-trip flights, giving me plenty of opportunities to nail down the perfect airport getup. Still, I’m always looking for inspiration—especially with my 2025 wedding being in California, my bachelorette in Tennessee, and my fiancé’s family holidays in North Dakota. Luckily, Priyanka Chopra gave me some much needed outfit inspo during her latest getaway.

Chopra was spotted at the Mumbai airport wearing a casual-chic ensemble. She donned a coordinating set, tiny crop top, laid-back cap, and oval sunglasses. Gold jewelry elevated the look, while a pair of bright white sneakers tied it all together. 

But if you think she’s wearing just another pair of white tennis shoes, think again. A closer look reveals a checkerboard design, proving it’s all in the details. The fun print adds nonchalant whimsy to the look, while keeping things exciting and fresh. 

The sneakers were also laceless—and I’m not mad about it. I’m a big advocate for slip-on tennis shoes, relying on their unfussy nature. So, it’s no surprise that Chopra wore them for traveling, since they’re easy to kick on and off for TSA screenings.   

While some may say white sneakers are solely reserved for spring, I beg to differ—and so does Chopra. All-white tennis shoes are super versatile, thanks to their minimalist design. Their straightforward nature makes them simple to style, effortlessly pairing with exciting prints, textured fabrics, and solid colors. In other words, a white sneaker is a timeless fashion staple that belongs in everyone’s closet.
