In conversation with ABP Live, Mamta revealed that she joined the film industry due to her mother's influence and pressure, as acting wasn't something she was eager to pursue. She also shared that she doesn’t regret leaving Bollywood and mentioned that the last Hindi film she watched was Munna Bhai.

The actress shared that she visited the Kumbh Mela in 2013 and took a holy dip in the Ganges in Haridwar in 2012. She also expressed her wish to return to India, saying it was something only the almighty could decide.

began in 2000. She chose Laxmi Narayan Tripathi as her 'pattaguru' on Friday, a day dedicated to Goddess Kaali. She revealed that although plans were underway to make her a mahamandaleshwar, Maa Shakti guided her to select Tripathi, whom she described as a living embodiment of Ardhnaareshwar. She expressed that having Tripathi perform her pattabhishek was the greatest honour.
