What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 24-25) | Pure Xbox
Another weekend is upon us, folks! With DOOM: The Dark Ages' big release now passing, it's been a somewhat quieter week in the world of Xbox - but we still have absolutely loads to be getting stuck into here.
Here's what we're playing over the weekend:
This weekend, getting stuck into Robocop: Rogue City is my top priority if I can get around to it. I already have access to the game on PS5 via PlayStation Plus, but honestly, I'm still tempted to grab that on Xbox with how cheap it is right now. It's part of a list of absolute bargains that publisher Nacon has going on at the moment!
RoboCop aside, I'm tempted to try out the pair of simulators that recently joined Xbox Game Pass. Fraser has always talked about how he enjoys these games, including Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, so I might have to give that a whirl and see what I think. You can't beat a bit of sim jank, can you?
Have a fine weekend, folks.
I bought this beautiful, beautiful book on football video games called A Tale of Two Halves earlier this week, and it's totally got me in the mood to play some classic sports titles. I might go back into the Xbox 360 era and enjoy the likes of and LMA Manager 2007, or maybe just get stuck into some UFL instead.
Beyond that, I'm thinking more Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, more Precinct, and maybe even some RoboCop: Rogue City if I decide to take advantage of that crazy deal. The backlog is just so big at the moment though, and I'm taking ages to get through Expedition 33 alone - I don't really need more games right now!
Have a good weekend, folks.
