Webinar: Why should public procurers choose EU Ecolabel products? - European Commission
Approximately 14% of the EU’s GDP is spent by public procurers on goods, services and works, giving Green Public Procurement (GPP) significant potential to advance the EU’s sustainability goals. By integrating environmental considerations into procurement decisions, the public sector can stimulate job creation, economic growth and investment, while also driving green innovation, enhancing resource and energy efficiency, and supporting the transition to a circular economy.
With over 100,000 certified products available on the EU market, the EU Ecolabel simplifies green procurement by providing reliable, science-based solutions that streamline procurement processes and support environmental objectives.
This event is co-organised by Ecolabelling Sweden and Ecolabelling Finland, the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME), and the European Commission.
