Javed Akhtar spoke candidly about turning 80 in an interview with Hindustan Times. He acknowledged the milestone but emphasized that life continues as usual, likening it to the planet's rotation around the sun. He humorously downplayed the significance of birthdays, stating they shouldn't be taken too seriously. The best gift he feels he has received is seeing his children, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar, succeed in their lives, creating an emotionally fulfilling situation for him.
