Footwear manufacturer VKC Group has opened its 17th My VKC exclusive brand outlet in Tamil Nadu, located in Rajapalayam. The store was inaugurated by franchisee owner Kannan and family, aligning with the group’s retail strategy to expand across Tier 2 and 3 markets in India.

The Rajapalayam store will offer a wide range of footwear for men, women, and children across VKC’s key brands comprising VKC Pride, VKC Debon, GoodSpot, Eezy, Ja.May.Ka, and Debongo, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The My VKC and Only VKC formats are designed to make global footwear trends accessible in rural and underserved regions.

“We are excited to open our first ‘My VKC’ store at Rajapalayam and our 17th store in Tamil Nadu," announced the brand in an official statement, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. "With this new venture, Rajapalayam will have contemporary global fashion in its neighbourhoods at affordable prices. My VKC store will be offering seven power brands in specific categories.”

The store will also facilitate bookings for Go Planet-D, a newly introduced sub-brand under Debongo. Promoted as the world’s first 100% sustainable and circular footwear brand, Go Planet-D aims to reduce environmental impact while offering resale value in the domestic market. VKC has also invited entrepreneurs to explore franchise opportunities under its expanding exclusive brand outlet network across India.
