This time she is the subject of debate over a light-hearted moment she shared with an Uber driver during her recent visit to the United States.
In a video posted to her social media pages, the ever controversial lawmaker recorded herself riding in a sleek Tesla, engaging in playful banter with the unsuspecting driver.
Nyamu, speaking in Kiswahili, began showering the driver with compliments.
"America, Uber driver ni mali safi. Hapa America ma Uber driver ni mali safi safi," she said cheekily, then asked the driver, “Did you hear what I said?”
The driver, unaware she was addressing him in a language he did not understand, remained silent, prompting Nyamu to repeat the phrase before eventually translating it.
"You are mali safi means you are handsome," she clarified, sparking a banana smile from the driver.
The two then shared a light-hearted conversation, during which Nyamu revealed she was from Kenya.
The driver, in turn, disclosed that he was also from Africa, Egypt, to be exact.
She captioned the ligh-hearted video writing:
"The way I be enjoying being in places nobody knows my name."
While the exchange appeared harmless and good-natured, social media users quickly jumped in with mixed reactions.
Some interpreted the compliments as Nyamu shooting her shot at the foreign driver, suggesting it was inappropriate, especially given her high-profile status.
Others, however, defended her, saying it was just a humorous and innocent exchange.

In a separate moment from her US trip, Nyamu shared a cheeky airport encounter playfully teasing an attendant.
In the viral clip, Nyamu is seen at a check-in counter, seemingly preparing for a domestic flight.
She playfully aired her frustration over not receiving what she jokingly referred to as VIP treatment.
The attendant calmly explained that they were only following standard operating procedures.
Nyamu then lightened the moment, clarifying that she was just joking.
Before walking away, she wrapped up the interaction with a compliment and asked for the attendant's name.
