Victoria Beckham has changed the manufacturing partner for its eyewear collections, a product category the label introduced almost as soon as it was founded in 2008. Victoria Beckham, founder of the eponymous British label, has announced the label has signed a 10-year worldwide license agreement for the design, manufacturing and distribution of its sunglasses and eyeglasses with Italian producer Safilo. The first collection produced by Safilo, for Spring/Summer 2026, will be available in-store next January.

The deal, which is set to run until December 2035, marks a new milestone in the eyewear category for Victoria Beckham, a label in which Neo Investment Partners holds a stake of nearly 30%. Beckham had initially developed the label’s eyewear in-house, relying on specialist Cutler & Gross for manufacturing. In 2019, she signed a license deal with a larger group, US producer Marchon, the licensee of Victoria Beckham’s eyewear collections since 2019.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Safilo to take Victoria Beckham Eyewear to the next level. Their expertise in the field is unparalleled, with a long-standing reputation for exceptional quality and craftsmanship. With their global reach and industry-leading capabilities, I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and can’t wait to bring our shared vision to life,” said Beckham in a press release.

For Safilo, also the licensee of Beckham’s husband's line, Eyewear by David Beckham, this is a coup, enabling the group to strengthen its position in the luxury segment and adding to a rich licence portfolio that includes Hugo Boss, Dsquared2, Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs, Moschino and Tommy Hilfiger.

“Together, we aim to strengthen the brand’s position as a global eyewear reference in women’s fashion, offering uniquely designed and beautifully crafted pieces that stand out for their attention to detail, minimalist design, and sophisticated aesthetics,” said Safilo CEO Angelo Trocchia. “This license will further enhance the women’s portfolio within Safilo’s brand architecture and strengthen our presence in the luxury segment,” he added.
