Footage from the match appears to show the Czech winger spraying fans with a water bottle as he celebrated teammate Hamza Igamane’s winning goal during the 3-2 victory at Celtic Park on Sunday.

Sky Sports cameras captured the incident as they turned to see Rangers interim manager Barry Ferguson’s reaction.

Celtic released a statement following the derby saying that the club had “raised concerns regarding members of the away team engaging with Celtic supporters with the relevant authorities”.

Police Scotland has since confirmed it is investigating the incident.

Shirts usually sell for below £1,000, with the winning bid for Ranger’s skipper James Tavernier’s shirt at £507, while striker Cyriel Dessers’ jersey is sitting at £283.

Cerny has since spoken of the incident, telling Czech outlet Sport that the fallout from the incident has been “absurd”.

He said: “I don’t want to say anything about it. I can’t. The stands are close, I didn’t even know what was happening at that moment. I just ran. It seems a bit absurd to me, it’s a derby.”
