Visakhapatnam: Two persons were killed, and two others suffered injuries in separate incidents after being struck by lightning in north Andhra Pradesh. In the first incident, 35-year-old Dasari Appanna was killed when he was grazing sheep at Kondraguda village in Srikakulam district.

In another incident near Kuntinavalasa village in Vizianagaram district, 45-year-old K Rambabu was killed and two others suffered injuries when they were taking shelter near a vehicle during the rain when the lightning struck them.
